Ubisoft has some great news for Assassin's Creed fans who enjoy playing mobile games.

During Ubisoft Forward on Saturday, Ubisoft shared a lot of information about the future of the Assassin's Creed series, including information that is important for mobile players. Assassin's Creed Codename Jade, a AAA mobile game set in ancient China, was unveiled by Ubisoft. It lets players make their own character and play with touch controls for what the developers call "intense combat" and parkour.

It has the protagonist climbing and skulking around, some combat, and some cinematic flair on stylish assassinations, making it look very much like an Assassin's Creed game. Given that the on-screen prompts are instructing players on how to use the touch controls, which include things like how to move around and how to perform basic attacks and dodges, this appears to be the tutorial portion of the China-based Assassin's Creed game. Just before the player is shown how to carry out an unseen assassination, the video abruptly ends.

This is by far the most we've seen of Assassin's Creed Jade from Ubisoft, and it certainly appears to be the game. For your reference, the previous information about the game can be found in the trailer below. Ubisoft reassured players that this is intended to be an AAA, open-world experience similar to other Assassin's Creed games at its reveal that the game was indeed a mobile game, making it the first of its kind for Assassin's Creed games
